Street Renaming Information for Claire Boulevard Residents
The Village of Robbins is currently coordinating with the United States Postal Service (USPS) regarding the official implementation of the street renaming from Claire Boulevard to Dwyane Wade Boulevard.
The Village is awaiting formal guidance from the USPS on official letterhead outlining the address transition process and any required steps for residents.
Based on preliminary information, Claire Boulevard and Dwyane Wade Boulevard are expected to run concurrently for approximately one year following the official street renaming, allowing mail to be delivered using either address during the transition period. However, residents are encouraged to begin updating their mailing address, driver's license, financial institutions, insurance providers, subscriptions, and other important records as soon as practical.
Once the Village receives official guidance from the USPS, we will immediately provide residents with detailed instructions regarding the address transition process, recommended timelines, and any additional information necessary to ensure a smooth changeover.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we celebrate this historic milestone for our community.
